The Bahamas
TAKANAKA arranged his accommodation on West Bay Street in the Bahamas sometime around '90 in order to work on his compositions during winter time. He settled a place in Miami area first but later realized the Bahamas was much comfortable. Since then, TAKANAKA spent almost half year there, then came back to Japan for the rest of recording or promotion work.
West Cable Beach (New Providence Island) is the place where you can enjoy the same scenery he enjoyed every day. He held his wedding at the beach. The other place TAKANAKA mentioned in The Bahamas is Pipe Creek which locates off the Staniel Cay. Hunpluged came with a lot art works of pictures taken at his place in the Bahamas.
He ended his unique work style and moved to 軽井沢 (Karuizawa) in 2001.
